MANILA, Philippines – Gary David scored 26 points to lead Air21 to a pulsating 103-102 win over Magnolia in Game 2 of their best-of-seven semifinals series Wednesday in the Smart-PBA Fiesta Cup at the Araneta Coliseum.

David, who was held to nine points in the Express’ 113-87 Game 1 loss, shot 10-of-16 on the floor going 3-of-4 beyond the arc to lead Air21’s bid of tying the series.

Express import Steven Thomas, back after trying out for the Korean league and attending the Cleveland Cavaliers’ training camp in the US, added 15 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to go with his three assists and two block shots. – GMANews
